Our client — a technology-driven company expanding its data capabilities and operational optimization — is seeking a Data Scientist with strong technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize algorithms for operational and product-related problems (e.g., mixed integer programming, heuristic methods, simulation modeling).

• Build and maintain Python-based analytical pipelines following engineering best practices (testing, modularity, CI/CD, version control).

• Work with optimization solvers and modeling frameworks such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, or OR-Tools to design and validate optimization models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including software engineers, data engineers, and UX designers — to translate requirements into robust analytical solutions.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and ready for production deployment.

• Communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role involving optimization, algorithm development, or advanced analytical modeling.

• Strong expertise in Python and core software engineering principles (version control, testing, modular coding, CI/CD).

• Solid background in optimization and algorithm design, including mixed integer programming, heuristics, and simulation modeling.

• Familiarity with optimization solvers and frameworks such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, or OR-Tools.

• Strong English communication skills

• Knowledge of data engineering concepts: SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, and data quality management. (Nice to have)

• Experience working in cross-functional product teams.(Nice to have)

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. (Nice to have)

• Engineering mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and production-level rigor. (Nice to have)
